This is really lovely, I love your mentions of the group relationships, the three ossan in the Tokyo battlefield (Ryo too right?, but not quite in the same way?), Maru's kindness and support, the way you describe Maru's bass harmony and the steadiness of Ohkuras drums. I couldnt help but notice theres no mention of Ryo at all, the performance, backstage, or in Yasu's thoughts. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, it makes me a little sad, that maybe Ryos close to them all, but theres like a barrier or gap between them, he was with hina/yoko/baru in Tokyo but he cant really bond with them the same way, He should have that bond Maru and Yasu (and Ohkura)from passing the auditions together and BIG West days, but he got pulled away with secret agent man and stuff with the Tokyo Juniors. I think Maru, Yasu and Tacchon have a formed a strong connection through their instruments as a band on top of being in the group. Ohkura mentions in his Shounen Club Premium ep that there was a bit of distance between him and Ryo when the four when they came back to Osaka to do the xmas stage plays, Ryo seemed to have changed and grown so much in the time they havent seen each other. Then later the thing with News having to shuffle back and forth between the two groups. I feel that Uchi and Ryo understand each other the best, with this feeling of displacement or not quite meshing with the others, I wish he were able to return to Eito and/or News.

"We're Johnnys. Music can be a passion and a matter of pride, but it'll always be secondary," This is true, a bit disheartening, but I love how the eito guys are passionate about it, I love the songs they compose and write together, the energy of their live performances and how they look really happy like they really enjoy jamming together (Ryo especially it seems).

I went and looked up the Music Station performances, Did they only perform it two weeks? I found two clips, one where Maru's wearing the same shirt as in the PV, and one he isn't. I dont have a trained ear when it comes to critiquing instrumentals and vocals, but I really loved both performances. I love seeing eito perform their band songs together, especially the shounen club premium sessions.

I like to read Yasu and Subaru bond as a close friendship too. I like your complex and quiet/calm Yasu. I think all of K8 are more complex than they look, yet to me they feel more "real" or genuine compared to the other idol groups.
